The Stable

The restoration of the old barn has breathed new life into an environment of great historical value. The apartment offers a location of extraordinary and unique beauty: on the ground floor of the main building of the Manor, it overlooks the inner garden and therefore enjoys a wonderful view of the pool and the medieval walls that surround the exclusive property.
The original manger still dominates the large open space that houses the kitchen, large living area and living room. In fact, the expert restoration has brought it back to life, preserving its original and historic masonry and wood structure in the living area while in the kitchen area the manger has become a large work surface once a favorite corner for the Manor’s cattle who could enjoy the forage of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Sensational is the large wall to which the manger rests in the living area, recovered as it was then all in exposed stone. The very high ceilings with wooden beams are lit by large vintage wrought-iron chandeliers: the ceilings, as well as the floor, are made of antique Impruneta terracotta.

The Kitchen

The rustic tuscan masonry kitchen consists of a grit sink, a large countertop recreated in the ancient manger and an induction hob: the refrigerator and the dishwasher are located in the wooden recesses of the kitchen where you will also find pots, oven microwave, kettle, toaster and everything you need to prepare a beautiful tuscan dinner! The whole wall of the kitchen is in ancient tuscan ocher-colored majolica which surrounds a beautiful and ancient bronze plate depicting a moment of rural life. Above the kitchen there is a wonderful hood in ancient chestnut beams set in the large and centuries-old collection of copper pots of the Manor.

The Manger

The Living are, illuminated by four large lights, enjoys a suggestive atmosphere. The large tuscan table masters the living room and the feeling of living in an ancient stable is palpable thanks to the incredible restoration of the location that has left the entire structure of the original stable intact: original details such as the old yoke and the rural tools embellishes the living area . The living corner houses a large and comfortable leather sofa that can be transformed into a double sofa bed with 65 ” cable and satellite TV. The large leather sofa, comfortable for enjoying the TV corner, becomes a king sofa bed if necessary to use the living room as a possible third bedroom: the comfortable size of the sofa bed makes it perfect for resting for both adults and children. Period furniture, an ancient bathtub and Carrara marble console finish the living area with great charm. The load-bearing wall of the apartment, today as then finished in exposed stone, still has old vents, small openings in the wall, which served to circulate the air in the room, given the presence of the cattle.

The Groom’s Room

The room rests on the load-bearing wall with the old vents fitted with small wooden windows that, by circulating air, make the room naturally air-conditioned in summer and warm in winter given the wall thickness of more than one meter. The room offers a large four-poster bed made of Tuscan wood with draperies, an antique closet with a vintage dresser, a hundred-year-old trunk, and the characteristic medieval illuminations that decorate the particularly atmospheric room. Finally, the room overlooks the courtyard of the Manor House.

The Chamber of Farriers

The room offers a large big size bunk bed (195cmx85cm) in ancient fir, ideal for the stay of adults but also of children and teenagers: note the realization of the detail of the security lock in typical medieval style. A large wardrobe completes the room full of tuscan charm which also overlooks the courtyard of the Manor.

The Bathroom

The large bathroom at the service of the apartment, made of tuscan majolica from florentine Impruneta area and expertly decorated, offers a large big size shower, toilet, bidet and sink which, to add a rustic tuscan style detail, is made of stone on ancient sewing machine and tuscan olive tree table.
